my favorite looks of the week

Jen from  jennifhsieh always delievers the most adorable outfits to match her adorable personality. Every week I'm blown away by her perfect style and charm. I love this simple, but pretty outfit. The pattern of the dress is really unique and it reminds me of summer. My favorite touch is the leather belt to tie it all together!

my favorite look of the week

This look worn by Coury is by far my favorite look of the week. Coury's blog Fancy Treehouse is one of my absolute favorite blogs. Not only is she as sweet as can be, but her style is perfection. You can tell she put time into making every outfit completely unique. She pays perfect attention to detail making each outfit intricate and beautiful. This look to me is perfect for fall. The colors look great with her vibrant blond hair. I love the "grandpa" sweater and I think this will be a big look for the coming season. My favorite ending touch of the look is the tied black collar. And isn't her dog adorable

my favorite looks of the week-backtrack

I finally have this feature for you again! Not all of these looks were from the previous week, but they are some of my favorite that I missed!

This looks worn by Wynn from Fashion Geek's Closet is one of my favorite looks of the summer. I know it is such a grand title, but it really is amazing. Not only is this look really unique, but it is perfectly complete. The skin tone color scheme is amazingly put together. My favorite feature is probably the rolled up blazer.

I'm really in love with this look worn by Holly from I Sew Love You. She is rocking the new long skirt trend! I love the white and red color choices. The tote adds a great ending touch!

Carissa from La Petit Poucet always knows how to put together an amazing look. I think it was very clever of her to pair a cute printed tee with a tailored button-down skirt. I think they really compliment each other! And as always I love her oversized glasses!

my favorite looks of the week- round 2

So... technical difficulties, I wrote each of these looks a lovely paragraph and somehow they are now missing. I apologize! So now it's just a few sentences. I hope this will do for now.

This look is worn by Lynzy of From Skirts to Skillets. I love the floral pattern of the dress; the lace detailing is amazing! The maroon bag and camel flats add a great touch!

This outfit was worn by Kristy from Monochromachic. She really shows us how you can use just basics to create a beautiful and complete outfit. I really love the studded cardigan and the black heels.
(I love the little stuffed animal friends tagging along!)

For  Tieka of Selective Potential's birthday attire, she really wore something amazing. Not that she doesn't always look amazing, but this look as got to be one of my favorite's of hers to date. It really just screams edgy, and I really like that. I love everything about this look; from the military green cardigan, to the lovely striped dress, to the black lace-up boots.

my favorite looks of the week- first edition!

So I've decided to offer you all a new feature called "My Favorite Looks of the Week".
This is a collection of a few of my favorite outfits that other bloggers wore/posted this week.
I feel like I draw a lot of my inspiration from what other bloggers wear, so I thought I'd share my favorites with you. Throughout the week, you can email me at thesillylittlethings@gmail.com to submit a look that you've worn and you think is worthy of the feature, and I just might pick it! So enough said, here are my favorite looks of the week:

This outfit worn by Jen of jennifhsieh is a great example of a well put together outfit.
It just feels complete! Every element that you need in an outfit is touched in this look.
I love the light wash denim button-down and how she tied it.
The white v-neck adds a necessary simple aspect to the outfit.
The pattern of the skirt is lovely and the fit is perfect on her.
And to tie it together, she ends the look with amazing black wedges and a simple necklace.

This look was worn by Coury from Fancy Treehouse. I just love everything about this look.
The centerpiece, being the romper, is my favorite part about it.
The color looks perfect with her hair and I'm always one for polka dots.
I like how she thought to wear a short sleeve under the romper. The belt really ties the two together.
The lace-up boots, hat, and satchel really give the look a "safari-chic" label, which I wish I could pull off!

This look worn by Chandler from A Fresh Start is really something I would love to wear.
It is casual, but looks fashionable at the same time.
I feel like her style is really easy to relate to. It seems effortless.
Starting with the color of the trousers. I think the touch of pale blue works perfectly in this outfit.
I love the zig-zag pattern of the shirt. It really adds interest to the look.
The brown flats and the gold cuff really add the perfect touch to wrap up the whole outfit.

Thanks to these bloggers for letting me use their images and I recommend all three of these blogs for you to read, they are some of my favorites! Don't forget to email me your looks for next week! I'm going to create a page with more information!
